Annual Campaign
Ways to Volunteer
Throughout the year and especially during the Annual Campaign, we rely on volunteers to be ambassadors and champions of our mission. This is achieved through sharing our stories, communicating our impact, connecting people to our purpose and providing them with the opportunity to give back to their community through donating their time and monetary support.

YMCA Camp Piomingo
From fundraising to photographers and videographers, from mending fences to painting cabins, from licensed physicians to professionals with horse experience, there is no shortage of volunteer opportunities at YMCA Camp Piomingo.
Contact us at [email protected] or call 502-942-2616 to volunteer at camp.

Y-NOW Mentors
Y-NOW – the mentoring component of YMCA Safe Place Services – is recruiting volunteers for their Children of Prisoners Program.
Volunteers support all phases of the Y-NOW program; however, our primary need is for mentors to listen and provide encouragement, support and stability so that kids can create a future that is distinctly different from the past. Volunteering with the Y-NOW program is a great way to gain insight into the lives of today's youth and to connect with people from all over our community.

YMCA Safe Place Services
Every day, our organization addresses serious family issues like teen homelessness, drug and alcohol use. We work with a variety of different family compositions: adoptive families, grandparents, aunts and uncles, absent parents and GLBT parents to break cycles of violence, abuse and turmoil and give them the resources they need for a better future.
All YMCA Safe Place Services volunteers receive free training and ongoing guidance.

New Member Ambassadors
Help us welcome new members to the YMCA family by serving as a New Member Ambassador! As a volunteer ambassador, you will help connect members to the mission of the YMCA, build lasting relationships, and provide support and encouragement in their health and wellness journey.
